200 FC Barcelona appearances for Pedri

Another milestone for Pedri in blaugrana. His start in 2-0 win away to Espanyol that clinched the Liga title makes it now 200 appearances for FC Barcelona. He has become a mainstay in midfield and has featured for more minutes on the pitch than any other player this season.

His double century has come up after 134 appearances in the league, 34 in the Champions League, 7 in the Europa League, 16 in the Copa del Rey and 9 in the Spanish Super Cup. The Canary Islander has also managed to score 26 goals and in every competition too – 20 goals in LaLiga, 1 in the Champions League, Europa League and Spanish Super Cup, and 3 goals in the Copa del Rey. A top passer of the ball and technically excellent, his reading of the game also helps provide goals and ball recoveries for the team.

It didn't take the young star long to earn his place in the blaugrana starting line-up. Signed for the 2020/21 season, the Canary Islander had already established himself in midfield just a few months after joining, going on to become a permanent fixture in the seasons to come.

Six trophies as a blaugrana

These 200 appearances as a blaugrana have included Pedri winning five trophies – two Copa del Reys, two Spanish Super Cups, and now two Liga titles following the confirmation on Thursday of the 2024/25 edition.

The 2020/21 season Copa del Rey was his first trophy, followed by the Liga title and Spanish Super Cup in the 2022/23 season. He has added to his trophy haul this season with the Spanish Super Cup in January and then the Copa del Rey in April, both against Real Madrid and finally La Liga to complete the domestic treble. He has been really productive in his appearances for the blaugranes so far, delighting FC Barcelona fans game after game.
