The ups and downs of Barça's season in La Liga continue. The win over Atlético in the Metropolitano marked a seventh successive win in the competition for Hansi Flick's side, the second time they have done so this season in the competition. Since a 1-1 draw with Getafe, Barça have beaten Valencia (7-1), Alavés (1-0), Sevilla (1-4), Rayo Vallecano (1-0), Las Palmas (0-2), Real Sociedad (4-0) and Atlético Madrid (2-4).

Start of the season 

Barça have equalled the run of results in La Liga from the start of the campaign when they defeated Valencia (1-2), Athletic Club (2-1), Rayo Vallecano (1-2), Valladolid (7-0), Girona (1-4), Villarreal (1-5) and Getafe (1-0) before losing 4-2 away at Osasuna. 

To that run we can add the last four games of the 2023/24 season under Xavi Hernández, making 11 in total, a figure Hansi Flick's team will have in their sights after the international break.
