The squad for Antwerp

The squad for Antwerp

Xavi names the players who will be travelling to Belgium for the final group stage fixture in the Champions League

FC Barcelona have already sealed qualification from Group H of the Champions League and barring some freak results on Wednesday, will be doing so as group winners. It means the final game is a relatively meaningless one as far as the bigger picture is concerned, so Xavi may well use it as a chance to rest more regular players and experiment with others.

With that in mind, he has picked the following squad of players for the trip: João Cancelo, Balde, Ferran, Pedri, Raphinha, Iñaki Peña, João Félix, Christensen, Romeu, S. Roberto, Kounde, Astralaga, Lamine Yamal, A. Alarcón, M. Casadó, Kochen, Fermín, Cubarsí, Aleix Garrido, Marc Guiu and Héctor Fort.

Workout on the Tito Vilanova field

After suffering a major blow on Sunday night by losing 4-2 at home to Girona, the Barça players were back out on the training field this Monday morning, where they were greeted by sunshine and surprisingly warm temperatures for this time of year. The first team players went through the usual warm-down routine at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where they were joined by Cubarsí, Cristo, Cuéllar and Arnau Pradas of Barça Atlètic.

Today's was the last session at the training ground before the players fly to Flanders on Tuesday.
