Barça ready for preseason opener

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — It has been 45 days since FC Barcelona's last match. It took place in Japan against Andrés Iniesta and Vissel Kobe. Now there is only one day left to see Xavi's Barça in action again. The blaugranes trained on Friday afternoon for the fourth time at the LA Memorial Coliseum, exactly 24 hours before their debut against Juventus at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

Applause for four

All available players who traveled to the United States were took part in Friday's training session. Just before the workout, there were four ovations that could be heard out on the pitch. They were given to the four confirmed captains of the first team: Sergi Roberto, Marc ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, and Frenkie de Jong.
