Three blaugranes called up for Nations League matches

Gavi, Jordi Alba and Frenkie de Jong have been selected by their national sides for games between 14 and 18 June

The Nations League returns in June and squads are being named with blaugranes set to be involved as is usual. Gavi, Jordi Alba and Frenkie de Jong have all been called for the Spain and Netherlands national sides respectively for games that will take place between 14 and 18 June. 

The Spanish national team take on Italy in the semi-final in Enschede, Netherlands on Thursday 15 June at 8.45pm CEST. In the other semi-final Ronald Koeman's Netherlands team face Croatia on Wednesday 14 June at 8.45pm CEST. The two winners will meet in the final on Sunday 18 June, also at 8.45pm CEST. 

Jordi Alba and Gavi named by Luis de la Fuente

On Friday national team coach Luis de la Fuente named his 23 man squad for the amongst which were Barça left back Jordi Alba and midfielder Gavi. The veteran defender already has 91 caps to his name and will be looking to add another trophy to his triumph with the national side in the 2012 European Championships. 

Midfielder Gavi has 17 caps to his name and he made his debut for the national side in a Nations League game against Italy back in October 2021. 

Frenkie De Jong selected by Koeman

Dutch national team coach Ronald Koeman has also named his squad for the Nations League with Frenkie de Jong amongst the 26 names. The midfielder will be looking for cap number 45 with the Oranje.
