A euphoric day for culers as Franck Kessie's injury time winner handed Barça a sensational victory at Camp Nou over Real Madrid in the Clásico and also marked goal number 3,000 for FC Barcelona at Spotify Camp Nou in La Liga.
Franck Kessie's name will be remembered alongside other great names in the list of landmark goals in Barça's stadium in the league. Goal 1,000 came in 1981 courtesy of a strike from Víctor Muñoz, the second of the game in a 5-0 win over Hércules.
23 years later goal number 2,000 came with Frank Rijkaard in charge of the side. That day in 2004 Philip Cocu scored the second in a 3-0 win over Málaga that was also goal number 2,000 in the league at Spotify Camp Nou.
Now, 19 years later Franck Kessie has added his name to that venerable list with his winner against Real Madrid.
Spotify Camp Nou opened its doors to fans on 6 October 1957 and since then there have been 1,670 games in all competitions with 1,244 wins and just 159, giving Barça a victory rate of almost 75% at the stadium.
Taking in all competitions, not just the league, goal number 1,000 came from the boot of Asensi in 1974 against Oviedo. Guillermo Amor notched up number 2,000 against Dynamo Kyiv in 1991 with Ronaldinho in 2006 against Zaragoza and Leo Messi in 2018 against Espanyol adding numbers 3,000 and 4,000 respectively.
