Juan Carlos Unzué to the squad: 'It's time to be brave'
Wednesday saw a special visit for the first team squad at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper with coach Xavi Hernández inviting Juan Carlos Unzué to the session.
Before the squad took to the field at the training ground, the former Barça player and goalkeeping coach greeted the players before the session and then gave them a motivational speech.
The former goalkeeper's words of wisdom were projected on the screen at the first team's video room ahead of Thursday's important league game against Villarreal at Spotify Camp Nou. "It's time to be brave and daring. The difficulties at the moment are something that will make you grow," explained Unzué to a squad looking to get back to winning ways.
It is not the first time this season that Unzué has spoken to the squad. Back in August Unzué was in the dugout for the friendly game for ALS against Manchester City at Spotify Camp Nou attended by 91,062 fans.
