We take a look at a number of facts about Barca's new signing who returns to FC Barcelona after 11 years

1- Héctor Bellerín was born in Barcelona on March 19, 1995 (he is 27 years old). He becomes the sixth Catalan player in the current first team squad along with Gerard Piqué, Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto and Sergio Busquets.

2- The fullback grew up at La Masia and was part of the youth development system for eight years (from 2003 to 2011).

3- In 2011 and aged only 16 years old, he left to join the English Premier League, spending the last 11 years playing for Arsenal.

4- He spent time with several players of his same generation while at La Masía, including Sergi Samper, Keita Baldé, Alejandro Grimaldo and Sandro Ramírez.

5- He made his debut for Arsenal in the 2013/14 season, going on to play 239 games for the "Gunners", during which he became a mainstay in the side and captain on occasion.

6- He played on loan for Watford for a few months (2013/14) and also spent last season on loan to Betis, playing a key role in Pellegrini's winning Copa del Rey side.

7- After playing for the under age categories, Bellerín was called up to the Spain Euro 2016 squad, along with other former and current La Masia trained Barca players like Piqué, Busquets, Iniesta, Bartra, Cesc Fàbregas, Pedro, Thiago, Jordi Alba and Nolito.

8- His trophies include four FA Cups (2014, 2015, 2017 and 2020), four Community Shields (2014, 2015, 2017 and 2020), all with Arsenal, and one Copa del Rey (2022) with Betis.
