FC Barcelona and Elche CF have reached an agreement on the loan of Álex Collado to the latter until 30 June 2023. There is no purchase option included in the arrangement.

Collado was just eleven years old when he joined FC Barcelona in the summer of 2010. He rose through the various youth ranks to eventually become captain of Barça B in 2020/21.
He made his first team debut away to Celta Vigo towards the end of the 2018/19 season, when Ernesto Valverde was in charge. Last season he went on loan to Granada in the winter transfer window, and played 17 games for the Andalusian side, scoring two goals.
