Second training session of the week
Xavi Hernández and his team continue their Gamper preparations at the Ciutat Esportiva
Thursday brought more work at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper as the squad were out on the field bright and early at 9am to avoid the heat later on. Although it was not exactly cool even at that time of day!
This was the second workout for the players as they get ready for for the Joan Gamper Trophy on Sunday at 8pm CEST against Pumas UNAM.
The game against the Mexicans is the first of the season at the Spotify Camp Nou, and also the first chance for the fans to see all the new arrivals in action.
One of those is Jules Kounde, for whom today's session was just his second with his new team-mates. And another is Robert Lewandovski, who is being officially presented in the stadium on Friday at 12 noon local time.
