Three wins and a draw on a tour featuring player debuts

Dembélé top scores on the USA tour, with Barça debuts for Lewandowski and Raphinha

As the USA tour draws to an end, FC Barcelona now have one game left prior to the start of the upcoming LaLiga season. Barça played four games in the United States of America, and Xavi Hernández' squad will return to Europe unbeaten with three wins and one draw.

Dembélé gets the goals

Three out of the four games saw clean sheets for Ter Stegen and Iñaki Peña, with the team only conceding two goals in Dallas against Juventus. At the other end, no less than 11 goals were scored on the tour. They were shared around among six different scorers in Aubameyang, Ansu Fati, Gavi, Memphis, Raphinha - who scored his debut goal against Inter Miami - and Dembélé, with the French winger top scoring on the tour with four.

Every player in the touring squad got some minutes on the pitch across the four matches apart from Arnau Tenas and Ferran Torres.

Debut days

The tour also included some debuts for new signings - seemingly coming thick and fast as the tour progressed. These included Lewandowski and Raphinha, who both donned the Barça jersey for the first time in the USA. Christensen and Kessie had already featured in the friendly in Olot, but Raphinha debuted in Miami against Inter Miami and Lewandowski debuted in the El Clásico in Las Vegas. The tour also saw the return of loan players such as Miralem Pjanic and Álex Collado.

The tour gave some of the youth players a chance to play for the first team too, with Balde, Marc Casadó, Pablo Torre and Abde all trusted to take the field by the coaching team.

Local fans were clearly thrilled by Barça visiting the United States of America and didn't pass up the chance to see their idols in the flesh, with the high attendance figures reflecting just that. Around 20,000 fans almost filled the DRV PNK Stadium in Miami to watch the game against Inter Miami (0-6), over 60,000 were there to watch Barça win El Clásico in the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, over 58,000 watched the draw against Juventus in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, and 25.000 saw Barça win against the New York Red Bulls in the Red Bull Arena in New York. No less than around 163,000 fans managed to see Barça during the US tour.

Tour complete, next stop the Joan Gamper Trophy

The tour may have ended, but Xavi Hernández and squad will continue preseason preparations this week in the Ciutat Esportiva before the Joan Gamper Trophy match on 7 August in the team's first match at the Spotify Camp Nou. They will face the Mexican side, Pumas UNAM, in the final test prior to the start of the new LaLiga season on 13 August, again at home in Spotfy Camp Nou against Rayo Vallecano, when the entire squad will be raring to go.
