The squad for the United States

Following the 1-1 draw against Olot in the first game of the preseason, FC Barcelona are now off to the United States for four games in four different cities.

Xavi has named 28 players to fly to North America on a flight that departs for Miami at 2.30pm CEST on Saturday.

The full list of players is as follows: Ter Stegen, Dest, Piqué, R. Araujo, Sergio, O. Dembélé, Pedri, Memphis, Ansu Fati, Nico, Jordi Alba, Ferran, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Eric, Aubameyang, Gavi, Iñaki Peña, Pjanić, Collado, Kessie, Christensen, Raphinha, Arnau Tenas, Pablo Torre, Balde, Ez Abde and Casadó.

Sergi Roberto has been given medical clearance this morning and is among the group.

Final session in Barcelona

Before heading stateside, the squad gathered one last time at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for a Saturday morning training session featuring all the players that are going on tour. Despite the 9.00am start, the workout was under a scorching sun... and in the US the temperatures are not going to be cooler.
