French defender takes part in the Friday morning session at the Ciutat Esportiva
The FC Barcelona squad went straight back to training on Good Friday morning following the disappointment of elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Tito Vilanova field at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper was the venue for what was primarily a recovery session after Thursday night’s game.
The big news was the presence of Samuel Umtiti, who is back with the group as part of his recovery process. The team was also joined by youth goalkeeper Ander Astralaga.
The team will now take Saturday off and will be back at training on Easter Sunday at 11.00am CEST. Following the workout, coach Xavi Hernández will be giving a press conference at around 1.00pm CEST, where the main topic of conversation will be Monday’s league fixture at home to Cádiz.
