Barça coach Xavi Hernández and his Espanyol homologue Vicente Moreno have met in the traditional managers’ meeting ahead of Sunday’s derby at 9.00pm CET.
The venue was the RCDE Stadium, setting of the game this weekend, where the two bosses posed for photographs together on the pitch and took the time to have a chat about the forthcoming encounter. Barça won the meeting earlier this season, Xavi’s first ever game in charge, 1-0 thanks to a Memphis penalty.
The Barça squad continued their preparations for the game in a Friday morning training session. They will be back at the Ciutat Esportiva at the same time, 11.00am CET, on Saturday, after which Xavi will be giving a press conference, which you can watch live with English translation right here on the official website.
