Nico González and Abde Ezzalzouli are continuing to live the dream at FC Barcelona. The Galician midfielder is playing a key role in his first season with the first team ever since making his debut against Real Sociedad in the first game of the campaign.
And Ez Abde has been playing an especially prominent role in the team since Xavi Hernández took over as manager.
And against Osasuna on Sunday both teenage sensations finally got to celebrate their first goals at senior level.
The Galician midfielder is playing a key role in his first season with the first team ever since making his debut against Real Sociedad in the first game of the campaign. Since then the 19-year-old has played 17 games, eleven as a starter.
It took 903 minutes to come and came off an assist from another of the breakthrough youngsters in late 2021, Gavi.
And after already coming close in the first half, Ez Abde found the net shortly after the restart. Dembélé lashed in the volley and the youngster’s stupendous volley put the blaugrana back into the lead. The goal came after six first team appearances, three as a starter and a total of 262 minutes.
There seems to be something about El Sadar and Barça youngsters, for this was the same ground where both Ansu Fati and Ilaix Moriba also scored their maiden goals for the first team.
Ilaix did so on 6 March 2021 when he was just 18 years old, and Ansu did likewise on 31 August 2019 when he was just 16 years and 304 days old. Not quite such a youngster, Arthur Melo also scored his first goal for FC Barcelona that day.
The game also saw young Ferran Jutglà get his first minutes for FC Barcelona on the day of his first ever call-up.
The 22-year-old Catalan came on in the 90th minute as a late replacement for fellow youngster Ez Abde. Jutglà joined the club earlier this year and the striker has been having a fine season in the ranks of Barça B
