Team due back for routine medicals on July 9 and 10 and first training session scheduled for July 12
Barça’s 2021/22 preseason is already beginning to take shape. Ronald Koeman will be expecting his players back on July 9 and 10 for their medical examinations, and on the 12th, the team will be holding its first training session after the break.
The first sessions will be taking place at the Ciutat Esportiva as normal.
Plans are naturally affected by the European Championship and the Copa America, in which a large number of players are participating and which don’t end until July 10 and 12 respectively.
It does mean, however, that the preseason will be back to its usual period, after the 2019/20 campaign didn’t end until mid-August and the much shorter 2020/21 preseason began much later than usual.
FC Barcelona’s preseason games and also plans for the Joan Gamper Trophy have yet to be announced and will be shortly.
