Camp Nou to host the first clash between the old rivals, and Santiago Bernabéu the return

The dates have been announced for the two Clásicos in the 2020/21 Liga season.

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid meet for the first time on October 25 at the Camp Nou. Although this will officially be in week 7 of the competition, it will actually be Barça’s fourth game, because teams that were involved in competitive games in August due to the Covid-19 postponement will not be playing their first two sets of fixtures until December.

Barça open the season at home to Villarreal on September 27 or 28, in what is officially the third week of the league.

Provided there are no further amendments made to the fixture list, Barça will be playing the first Clásico of the year immediately after going to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, home of Getafe.

In turn the return leg, at the Santiago Bernabéu, will be on April 11, immediately after a game at Camp Nou against Valladolid.

Last season, the rivals drew 0-0 at Camp Nou, and Madrid won 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu.
