Below, we review which Barça players have been called up for their national teams

International games return, and in the first weeks of September, Barça's European players will have the chance to represent their countries in the UEFA Nations League.

Ansu Fati and Sergio

Last Thursday, August 20, coach Luis Enrique announced the list of Spanish players to face Germany and Ukraine, and the name of Ansu Fati stood out. The young footballer was called up for the first time, and will have the option to make his debut with the senior side after having made his U21 debut in October 2019. Despite not even being 18 years old, the call up is a reward for his great season with FC Barcelona.

Sergio Busquets and Ansu, who have been training at the Ciutat Esportiva, have the chance to face Germany in Stuttgart on September 3 (8.45pm CEST) and Ukraine at the Alfredo Di Stadium on September 6 (8.45pm CEST).

Lenglet and Griezmann

Didier Deschamps' team also has the UEFA Nations League on its agenda. Antoine Griezmann and Clément Lenglet have entered the list to play against Sweden (September 5 at 8.45pm CEST) and against Croatia (September 8, at 8.45pm CEST).

Trincão and Semedo

Portugal's national team coach Fernando Santos announced on Monday 24 August the list of players called up for their debut in the Nations League. Francisco Trincão, a new signing for FC Barcelona who has been training for a few weeks and was presented on Wednesday 26 August, could add his first minutes with the senior team.

Semedo and Trincão have the match against Croatia (September 5 - 8.45pm CEST, at the Do Dragao Stadium) and, on September 8 at 8.45pm CEST, the match against Sweden. It is worth mentioning that in the next national team break, in October, Portugal, the current UEFA Nations League champions, will play against France as they are in the same group; therefore, there will be the possibility of a match between club team-mates.

De Jong

The Dutch midfielder will also take part in the opening matches of the UEFA Nations League for the Netherlands, the reigning runners-up. Netherlands v Poland (September 4, 8.45pm CEST) and Netherlands v Italy (September 7, 8.45pm CEST) are the games for the team led by Dwight Lodeweges, the replacement for Ronald Koeman.

Denmark v Belgium (September 5, 8.45pm CEST) and Denmark v England (September 8, 8.45pm CEST) are the two Nations League appointments for the Danish striker.
