Training in Lisbon and Dembélé gets the all clear

The culés trained in the Estádio da Luz, where they will play against Bayern on Friday

The 26 players called up by Quique Setién for the Champions League quarter-final trained at the Estádio da Luz this Thursday, the venue where Barça will face Bayern Munich on Friday.

The squad traveled to Lisbon this morning, with Setién calling up all the first team players except Umtiti, who remained in Barcelona recovering from his injury, and nine Barça B players: Iñaki Peña, Riqui Puig, Ansu Fati, R. Araujo, Monchu, Mingueza , Konrad, Reyes and Jandro.

Dembélé gets the all clear

The great news from the session was Ousmane Dembélé being given the all clear 192 days after injuring the proximal biceps femoris tendon of his right thigh.

FC Barcelona v Dortmund in the group stage of the competition saw the No.11 leave the pitch. During training on February 3 he had to withdraw from the session, and subsequent tests confirmed a complete rupture of the proximal tendon of the femoral biceps of the right thigh. On February 10, he was successfully operated on in Turku (Finland) by Dr. Lasse Lempainen.

The Cantabrian coach now has one more player to help face the final phase of this season's Champions League, which opens with the Bayern game (August 14, 9.00pm CEST).
