A legendary goalfest in honour of Cruyff

On the fourth anniversary of Johan Cruyff's passing, we remember the incredible 0-5 win his Barça side produced away to Real Madrid in 1974

Tuesday, March 24 marks four years since the passing of Barça legend Johan Cruyff. The former FC Barcelona player and coach had a multitude of incredible performances for the club, and one of his very best games came on March 17, 1974, in a 0-5 win against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu

Barça, coached by Rinus Michels, started with a lineup of Mora, Rifé, Torres, De la Cruz, Costas, Juan Carlos, Rexach, Asensi, Cruyff, Sotil and Marcial. That night they were in top form and relentless in front of goal, with strikes from Asensi (2), Cruyff, Juan Carlos and Sotil in a dominant display. Cruyff was the team's leader, scored the second goal and provided the assist for Sotil to make it 0-5.
