Three previous games at home to Leganés

This Thursday, Barça and Leganés will be meeting for the first time ever in the Copa del Rey. But the side from the south of Madrid have visited the camp Nou in each of the last three league seasons. So far, it’s been wins all the way for the Catalans:

2016/17 (2-1)

19 February 2017. Leo Messi put Barça a goal up after just four minutes, but Unai López levelled after the break. The Argentinian then scored again, this time from the penalty spot, to secure a 2-1 victory.

2017/18 (3-1)

7 April 2018. Messi got two the first time the ‘cucumber growers’ came to the stadium, and the second time they came he went even better with a hat-trick! El Zhar got the consolation goal for Leganés.

2018/19 (3-1)

20 January 2019. Dembélé put Barça ahead in the first half, but Braithwaite cancelled out the lead. However, goals from Suárez and Messi would eventually set things straight, and Barça won by the same score as the year before.
