The squad for the friendly against Cartagena

Coah Ernesto Valverde has named a 22 man list for the fund-raising game on Wednesday

The international break is upon us with La Liga on hiatus due to national team fixtures around the globe. Barça are taking advantage of the time to play a fund-raising charity game against Cartagena in which ticket proceeds will go to the victims of September's floods in the area.

For the game that will be played in the Cartagonova stadium, coach Ernesto Valverde has named a 22 man squad: 

Neto, Piqué, O. Dembélé, Aleñá, S. Roberto, Junior, Sergi Puig, C. Pérez, Morer, Guillem, Akieme, O. Mingueza, R. Araujo, Chumi, Riqui Puig, Sarsanedas, Monchu, Collado, Jandro, Saverio, Hiroki Abe and Marqués.

Ter Stegen, Sergio, Todibo, Arthur, Suárez, Messi, Lenglet, M. Wague, Griezmann, F. De Jong and Vidal are absent as they are all on international duty whilst N. Semedo and Jordi Alba are still missing due to injury. Umtiti is left out and Rakitic has returned from international duty due to an Achilles problem and he will also miss the game against Cartagena. 

Final session in Barcelona

On Tuesday the team trained for the final time before the game against Cartagena. The available first team players took part as did the Barça B players with Piqué and Rakitic doing specific work.
