After a day off on Thursday, the FC Barcelona squad were back in training on Friday with an early session. The players took to the Tito Vilanova training pitch for a morning workout with almost every available player present. Rafinha would miss the session through gastroenteritis. Joining the first team players were Iñaki Peña, Carles Pérez and Abel Ruiz of Barça B, and Ansu Fati from the Under-19s A side.
The next session for the team will be on Saturday at 6:30pm CEST, and will be the final chance to prepare for the first home game of the LaLiga season against Real Betis. Before training, coach Ernesto Valverde will speak to the media at 5:30pm CEST in his pre-match press conference at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
