Barça's season, by the numbers
After falling to an unsavory defeat to Valencia in the Copa del Rey final, the season is finally over. Hence, it's now time to review the stats produced by 10 months of football.
Rakitic, Sergio, Coutinho, Alba: appearances leaders
The four played in 54 games each, while Gerard Piqué played the most total minutes across all competitions, with 4,680.

Ernesto Valverde used a lot of players this season, including eight from Barça B. Additionally, this season also gave us Barça's youngest starting XI in 24 years.

Rakitic led the team with 3,956. Sergio was second with 3,845, Jordi Alba had 3,767, and Piqué had 3,502.
Leaders in stats among La Liga teams
Across all competitions, Barça led all Spanish First Division teams in goals (138), shots on goal (394), total passes (39,669), passing percentage (.882), possession (63.78%), and goals per game (2.30).
Goals scored against 26 teams
Barça scored at least once against 26 different sides, and 33 total goalkeepers. The top victim was Sevilla (16 goals), followed by Real Madrid and Levante (10 each).
King Leo
Leo Messi was prolific once again this season, scoring 51 goals, and winning the Pichichi Trophy (36 goals in La Liga) as well as the Golden Shoe. He also leads the Champions League in scoring with 12 goals, with only the final remaining to be played.
Messi has now won three Pichichis in a row and six overall, the same numbers he has for the Golden Shoe.
Messi 600
Messi also hit a new milestone this season by scoring his 600th goal, which incredibly came on a spectacular free kick against Liverpool in the Champions League semifinals. Overall, Messi scored eight free kick goals this season.
In the process, Messi also established himself as the top all-time goalscorer for a single team among the major European leagues. The only one still above him is Pelé, who scored 643 for Santos.
