Andrés Cuenca, born on 11 June 2007 in Adamuz (Córdoba), has worn the Barça colours since 2019. He joined the club from Sevilla and immediately adapted to Barça’s style of play thanks to his defensive qualities and ability to build from the back. He began his Barça journey with the U14B team alongside players such as Cubarsí, Lamine Yamal, Bernal and Landry, among others.
In his second year at youth level, during the 2024/25 season, he already played an important role with Barça Atlètic. He started the campaign as a regular in the reserve side and went on to make 18 appearances that season, 14 of them as a starter. Towards the end of the campaign, he returned to U19 A, becoming a key part of the team that won the League, Copa del Rey and UEFA Youth League treble under Juliano Belletti.
That same season, he also made his official debut with the first team on 1 October 2024 in the Champions League, in a match against Young Boys. In the 2025/26 season, despite still being a youth player, he became a full member of Barça Atlètic.
Cuenca has represented Spain at every youth level so far: U15, U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20. He has been a regular in national team call-ups and has played a key role in tournaments such as the U17 World Cup, the U19 European Championship and the U20 World Cup.
