Another three points for Barça Atlètic as they won the Catalan derby against UE Olot 2-0 at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Despite many absentees, this third consecutive win and fourth in five games sees Belletti's side remain at the top of group 3 of the Segunda Federación.

Sama Nomoko with super strike

Barça Atlètic started well and it was soon rewarded with a goal, Sama Nomoko with a powerful accurate strike inside the near post that left Ballesté no chance (1-0, min 3).

Dani Rodríguez could have made it two (min 5), but Olot gradually grew into the game as they looked for an equaliser, and Marc Mas could have done better from a good chance from inside the area (min 28).

Barça Atlètic sensed the change in momentum and came back as the half went on, with Barberá making Ballesté save well (min 33), before Olot threatened again through an Arumí header that was saved by Bernad (min 38).

Game sewn up toward the end

Olot came out more subdued after halftime, and Barça Atlètic substitute Ureña tested Ballesté's reflexes (min 58). Jofre also went close after showing good skill inside the area (min 65), while Roger had a shot from the edge of the area (min 70).

Another push for an equaliser by Olot as the game came to a close, but Barça Atlètic were set up well, and after a long period of possession, Oduro passed to Brian Fariñas, who scored the second and sealed the win (2-0, min 82).
