A defeat for Barça Atlètic against CE Andratx in the Segunda Federación matchday two fixture (2-1). The development side went ahead early through Juan Hernández at the Municipal Sa Plana stadium, but the Balearic Islanders came back to win.

Juan Hernández scores but home side come back

A great start for Juliano Belletti's side as Juan Hernández scored a stunning goal on three minutes after dribbling past three defenders. The home side reacted, however, first through some great individual play by Meca (1-1, min 11), before Gabi made it 2-1 after a great counterattack (min 16).

Juan Hernández was still proving the biggest threat for the blaugranes, but Kochen had to intervene to stop Gabi, who was arriving on the right flank. The Fernández brothers, Toni and Guille, tried their best to redress the balance during the significant added time at the end of the half, but to no avail.

Bar stops Nomoko equaliser

Seven minutes after the restart Nomoko came mightily close to equalising, the winger's chip ending up hitting the bar after good work. Meanwhile, Gabi and Llabrés had efforts from counter attacks for the home side, by Kochen stood firm. The blaugranes gradually started to create more chances and Nomoko and Juan Hernández tested Elías Ramírez.

Effort but no reward

The score was 2-1 with a quarter of an hour left, with the Mallorcans sat in and repelling the Catalans' efforts. Barberà went closest with an effort from an Espart cross that grazed the post. Then in added time, Tommy Marqués and Barberà had further efforts, but no joy, and Barça Atlètic had lost the first away trip in the 2025/26 season.

Next up, Castellón B visit the Estadi Johan Cruyff for the matchday three fixture on 22 September.
