FC Barcelona and Los Angeles Football Club have reached an agreement on the loan to the former of Mamadou Fall for one season through to 30 June 2024, with the option for the Catalans to buy the player once the season is over.
The player has yet to take his medical or officially sign his contract, but if all goes to plan, he'll be joining the Barça Atlètic squad for training very shortly.
Strong defender
Mamadou Fall was born in Rufisque (Senegal) on 21 November 2002, a tall right-footer who his powerful and especially strong in the air. He typically plays in the centre but frequently slots comfortably in at right back too. Lethal from dead ball situations, it is not unknown for him to score goals too.
He started out at Montverde Academy before joining a programme in the USA. In the summer of 2021 he signed for Los Angeles Football Club in MLS, playing 35 games and scoring five goals. He then spent a year on loan to Villarreal B, playing for both the reserves and the first team.
