FC Barcelona and Deportivo La Coruña have reached an agreement on the sale of Álvaro Pérez, better known as Trilli. The 20-year-old defender will be signing for Barça Atlètic on a two-year contract through to 30 June 2025.
The player has passed his medical checks and had a look around his new home and on Monday will be training for the first time under coach Rafa Márquez.
All that remains to be done is to officially sign the contract.
Wing back
Born 19 May 2003 in Ortigueira (La Coruña), Trilli is an attacking right back. His height of 1.85 m and powerful physique help him to patrol the whole of the right side of the field, contributing both to defence and attack.
He started out at Racing Ferrol, and later rose through the youth ranks at Deportivo La Coruña, making his debut in the third tier 1a Federación as an U19, playing 21 games and giving two assists.
Trillihas also represented Spain at U16, U17, U18 and U19 level.
