FC Barcelona and Cultural Leonesa have reached an agreement on the sale of Diego Percan. After taking a medical on Wednesday morning and posing for pictures in his new strip, the player will be signing his two-year contract through to 30 June 2025, which he will be doing in the presence of president Joan Laporta.
Born in Leon on 13 November 2001, Diego Pertejo Canseco, better known by a combination of his two surnames, 'Percan', started out at Club Deportivo San Lorenzo when he was just five, and joined Cultural Leonesa in 2016. He rose through the ranks to represent the club's reserve team Jupiter, and after making his senior debut in Primera Federación he went on to play all but one game in his following season (he missed one through suspension) and scored 8 goals and gave 3 assists.
Percan is typically a centre forward, but he can slot in anywhere required in attack. He's bringing plenty of skill to Barça Atlètic, as well as a great eye for goals-
