FC Barcelona extend Carles Pérez's contract

The Club and the player have reached an agreement to extend his contract for two seasons until 30 June 2022

FC Barcelona and the player Carles Pérez have reached an agreement to extend his contract for two seasons until 30 June 2022. 

The signing of Carles Pérez's new contract with FC Barcelona took place on Monday at the Club offices in the presence of president Josep Maria Bartomeu, board member Silvio Elías who is responsible for the professional youth teams, Òscar Grau the FC Barcelona CEO, Éric Abidal the technical secretary of the professional teams and his assistant Ramon Planes and the player himself. 

Six matches and one league goal with the first team 

Carles Pérez made his debut with the first team in the final week of the league last season against Eibar in Ipurua. The player from Granollers, near Barcelona, came on to replace Malcom in the 73rd minute to become the eighth player from the youth teams to make his debut with the first team that season. From that moment, his appearances with the first team have increased. This season Carles Pérez has featured in five of Barça's six league games and he has also scored his first goal for the team, finding the net in the 5-2 win over Betis at Camp Nou.
