FC Barcelona and Pere Romeu, coach of the women's football first team, have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract for two more seasons until 30 June 2028. 

The official signing of the contract will take place at the Club President's office in the coming days, after which the coach will face the press. 

A spell marked by success and consolidation of the project

This contract extension comes after two successful seasons in charge of Barça Women for Pere Romeu, in which he has won eight of nine possible trophies, including the 4th UEFA Women's Champions League in the club's history. 

Aside from the results on the field, Romeu has also shown his commitment to the talent from La Masia and to the blaugrana sporting model. 

This agreement sees the Club and the coach extending a period marked by success and the desire to continue competing at the highest level.
