UEFA has published its annual club report, outlining different areas of the football business in 2025. In its comprehensive analysis of all parameters surrounding clubs, the study highlights FC Barcelona's leadership in the ranking of kit and merchandising revenue, with a record figure of €277 million, an immense €46 million more than its closest rival, Real Madrid.
The new strategic partnership between Nike and FC Barcelona has played a key role, strengthening joint work in product creation, supply chain management and the global distribution of Barça products. Since last season, Barça regained full control of its global retail and e-commerce business, with the latter becoming the main growth driver for Barça Licensing & Merchandising compared to the previous season. After tripling online sales year-on-year, growth continues at over 45% compared to last season.
Merchandising products play a fundamental role in the relationship with the more than 500 million Barça fans worldwide, reinforcing connection and a sense of belonging among supporters. The team’s strong form on the pitch has been key to capitalising on this success, with fans identifying with players developed at La Masia and with the attractive style of play that Hansi Flick has instilled.
Economic success
This significant increase in revenue has been accompanied by profitability well above the industry average, with indicators that double or even triple typical market standards. This is the result of leveraging the scale achieved at this new level of revenue and the efficiencies generated.
Despite setting an all-time record, this season represents only another step in BLM’s strategic plan. The ambition is to continue outperforming projected growth and to reaffirm BLM as one of the club’s financial cornerstones.
15 directly operated Barça Stores and six under licence
In retail, Barça now has 15 directly managed Barça Stores following the opening of its second store in Madrid at Airport Terminal 4 in August 2024, in addition to six other shops operating under licence. The club plans to continue expanding, with further store openings to be announced soon.
In terms of turnover, the Barça Store at Spotify Camp Nou has also reached record figures. And that is despite only five matches being played at the stadium (four in La Liga and one in the Champions League), an achievement of extraordinary merit. The full return to the stadium will be another key asset in further increasing the club’s merchandising revenue.
All around the world
Via www.store.fcbarcelona.com, sales have been made in 176 countries this season, with the United States recording the highest number of transactions. The website is currently available in seven languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, French, German, Japanese and Korean), the latter two added last summer during the first team’s tour of those Asian countries. One of the strengths of this global e-commerce platform is its operational efficiency and distribution performance, with the vast majority of orders delivered to the 176 countries within 48 to 72 hours.
Record income
Kit and merchandising figures represent a significant share of a record overall total for the club, but they are not the only positive figures. In 2025, revenue reached €989 million, the highest amount ever recorded. This represents a 29% increase compared to the previous season and makes Barça one of the fastest-growing European clubs, surpassed only by Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa and Zenit Saint Petersburg.
In the home fixture elite
These excellent figures are also reflected in stadium matchday revenue. FC Barcelona ranks fifth in average revenue per match, with €5.4 million. This increase has been achieved despite playing most of the year’s matches at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Only the last five matches of 2025 were played at Spotify Camp Nou, with capacity still limited to just over 45,000 spectators.
