For the Champions League group-stage match that FC Barcelona will hold with Eintracht Frankfurt at the Spotify Camp Nou tomorrow Tuesday, December 9 (9:00 p.m.), the Club, as in all matches classified as high risk, will adopt the necessary security measures to guarantee the safety of all members and local and visiting fans. In this way, it will also implement control measures in the sale of tickets, especially with regard to the sale of seats and the presence in the Stadium of attendees of the rival team outside the area designated for their fans. The purpose of the measures implemented is to guarantee the maximum safety for all the attending public.

For this reason, a call is made to all fans of the rival team, in this case supporters of Eintracht Frankfurt who do not have a ticket, to avoid travelling to the Spotify Camp Nou, since there will be no ticket sales points. Only those who have a ticket managed by their Club in the area reserved for the visiting fans will be able to access the Stadium.

The measures that have been established and that form part of the usual protocol for matches declared high risk by the Anti-Violence Commission are the following:

  • Tickets are nominal.
  • Activities of rival fans will not be allowed in the local fan area.
  • Sales have been blocked in the country of origin of the rival fans by IPs and by bank cards from that country.
  • Communication on the website during the sales period with a message indicating that sales are only for FC Barcelona members.
  • Prohibition of wearing clothing or identifiers of the rival team of FC Barcelona, except in the area reserved for the rival fans.
  • Carry official identification documents to access the Stadium (ticket and passport or ID document) to be shown if required.
  • Access K enabled, exclusive for visiting fans.
  • No ticket sales at the ticket offices of the Spotify Camp Nou.
  • Tour operators have limited ticket sales.

The Club also calls on the public attending the match to come with enough time and with all documentation prepared to show it at the request of any member of the Club or of security at the entrances. Reinforced security measures due to the exceptional nature of this match also stand out:

  • Increased security devices at each access, and in the stands to manage incidents and, if necessary, carry out expulsions.
  • Nominal and visual control of attendees with symbols or clothing of Eintracht Frankfurt to rule out indications of illegal ticket acquisition.
  • Coordination with Eintracht Frankfurt, the Guardia Urbana and the Mossos d’Esquadra to prevent access around the Spotify Camp Nou to fans of the rival team, discouraging ticket resale.
  • Daily analysis of sales made in order to identify possible patterns of fraudulent sales, taking in this case the necessary measures to avoid any breach of the safety of our fans.

Finally, to remember:

  • If the traceability of the purchase and final destination of tickets reveals fraudulent activity, this fact will be brought before the Disciplinary Committee so that it may adopt the corresponding measures against the responsible persons.
