The new Barça boss Hansi Flick has travelled to Cologne to follow today's handball Champions League final between FC Barcelona and Danish side Aalborg. The German coach has a seat next to president Joan Laporta, sporting vice president Rafa Yuste, director Joan Solé, advisor Enric Masip and former Barça handball coach Valero Rivera.
It will come as no surprise to Flick the atmosphere in the stadium for the final as handball is the second biggest sport in Germany after football. The new Barça coach, before taking the reins of the men's football team, is already showing his awareness of the multi-disciplinary nature of FC Barcelona with his presence for the big game in Cologne.
