FC Barcelona launches new tour of Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper

For the first time, guided visits are available of the training ground, Estadi Johan Cruyff and area that until now have only been accessible to the senior men's football team

The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper is the hub of FC Barcelona activity. This is where hundreds of athletes work out every day in order to compete at the high standard that the club demands.

But the place that hides so many of the secrets of the success behind the different teams is about to open its doors to the general public for the first time ever in the form of the Players Experience-Ciutat Esportiva. On this new tour, fans will be able to explore some of the most iconic areas of the facility, including the first team dressing room, the Tito Vilanova training pitch, the pavilions where the different pro sports teams work out, the gymnasium, the dining hall where the players and staff eat before and after exercising and also a look behind the scenes at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, where the women's, reserve and youth football teams play.

The first such visit is scheduled for February 29 and will be repeated on a regular basis over the forthcoming months, whenever the pro team schedules allow.

The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper tour package also includes a ticket for the Barça Immersive Tour, the new Barça museum that opened last June, and a visit to the Spotify Camp Nou observation deck, from which the progress on the redevelopment of the stadium can be viewed. These other visits can be made on any day of the week, separately from the tour of the training facility.

This new attraction complements those that were already on offer at the Spotify Camp Nou before the redevelopment work began, where visitors could also visit the stadium dressing rooms and other places that are usually for the private use of the senior men's football team only.
