The Barça Legends are heading back to Africa. Having already played games in Mozambique, Morocco and Zambia, they now have a game against former stars of the Democratic Republic of the Congo's national side, known as the Leopards.
Kick off is at 4pm local time (4pm CEST) this Sunday, at the 80,000 capacity Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa. Opened in 1994, the stadium is considered one of the finest in all Africa, and is where DR Congo play their home games, a side currently tanked 65th in the world and that narrowly missed out on a place at the 2022 World Cup in a playoff against eventual semi-finalist Morocco.
Coach Albert Ferrer is taking the following group of players with him:
Jesús Angoy, Xavi Guzmán, Juliano Belletti, Samuel Okunowo, Philip Christanval, Dani Tortolero, Jordi López, Juan Carlos, Jofre Mateu, Roberto Trashorras, Gabri Garcia, Roger Garcia, Giovanni, Óscar Arpon, Ludovic Giuly, Haruna Babangida and Javier Saviola.
