Barça Legends 3-0 Asian Legends: Victory in Kyrgyzstan

The Barça Legends have beaten a team of Asian Legends 3-0 in the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium, Kyrgyzstan.

They started the game with an XI featuring Angoy, Belleti, Puyol, Sorin, Sergi, Trashorras, Davids, Rivaldo, Giovani, Giuly and Saviola, although Francesco Coco, Jofre, Roger Garcia, Jorquera, Juan Carlos Rodríguez and Jon Adoni Goikoetxea also played a part.

Rivaldo opener

The game was a blaugrana dominated one from the off. Guily and Rivaldo connected several times up front and it was the Brazilian who eventually broke the deadlock on 20 minutes.

And after several chances to double their lead, they finally did so when Juanpi Sorin's powerful strike on the edge of half-time proved unstoppable for the rival keeper.

Saviola puts icing on cake

Saviola and Jofre were the main conductors of the attacking moves in the second half, and it was the Argentinian who eventually scored the third. Belleti stole the ball in midfield and threaded a beautiful pass to leave Saviola through on the goalkeeper.

The Barça Legends will be back in action in one week's time. That's on September 5 against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
