After revealing the musical preferences of some of the Barça players in Matchday Playlists, Spotify is going one step further by offering Barça fans a new personalised audio experience.
Thanks to Spotify Blend, users can now combine their own favourite songs with those of the Barça players in a single playlist, thereby transferring Barça passion to totally new terrain.
The line “united we are stronger” from the Barça anthem now has more meaning than ever!
Pedri, Alexia, Lewandowski, Oshoala, Dembélé, Rolfö, Raphinha, Geyse and Barça Legend Ronaldinho have all revealed their Matchday playlists in recent months, and they are the stars with which fans can now combine their favourite tunes. And whoever tries this curious mix of tastes will get a match score that they can share on social networks.
To celebrate the arrival of the players from the Barça men’s and women’s teams on Spotify Blend the collaboration is being promoted on advertising screens in Penn Plaza, New York, one of the most emblematic cities in the world.
This initiative is part of the sponsorship agreement between FC Barcelona and Spotify, the world's most popular audio streaming subscription service. A collaboration that brings the world of music and football together, while exploring new ways to connect sportspeople and artists to their fans worldwide. The playlists, replacing the Spotify logo with the logo of artists, such as Drake and ROSALÍA on special jerseys, and the name of our stadium, the Spotify Camp Nou, are just some of the initiatives from this partnership that represents a new approach in showing and communicating the connection between sport and music worldwide.
