Alexia and Gavi receive the Aldo Rovira award for the 2021/22 season
The judges choose the two Barça players as best female and male player from last season
Alexia Putellas and Gavi have collected the Memorial Aldo Rovira award for best female and male players for the 2021/22 season.
Alexia received her award in the morning and Gavi in the afternoon, both at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Director responsible for women’s football, Xavier Puig, was in attendance for the morning presentation.
First vice president, Rafael Yuste, joined Gavi when he received his award. Several representatives of the Rovira family were present for both ceremonies.
This means Alexia Putellas again wins the award, which is now in its thirteen edition. Gavi follows previous winners Pedri, Ter Stegen and Piqué.
