The current ties between FC Barcelona and player Nico Laprovittola have come to an end. The Argentinian point guard's contract ended on 30 June, and FC Barcelona would like to publicly thank him for his commitment to Barça and wishes him all the best for the future.

Lapro always showed his talent on the court, and despite suffering with injuries in the past two season, he made a great physical effort to compete at the highest level again in the latter part of the 25/26 season. He says goodbye having won the hearts of the Palau Blaugrana and with five titles under his belt: the Copa in 2022, the Liga title in 2023 and the Liga Catalana title in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Five season spell

The Argentinian international joined Barça in summer 2021 and went on to become one of the team captains in his final three seasons. He played 307 games across those five seasons: 147 in the Liga, 134 in the EuroLeague, 9 in the Copa, 11 in the Liga Catalana and 6 in the Super Cup.
