Two from two at the Palau. Barça beat La Laguna Tenerife 97-89 to take a 2-0 lead in the semi-final series and travel to the Canary Islands knowing that one more win will secure a place in the final. If not, the series will return to Barcelona for a decisive fifth game.

Mills leads Tenerife response

After a one-sided first game, Tenerife came out with a different approach, putting the ball in the hands of veteran scorer Patty Mills. The Australian responded immediately, hitting two early three-pointers and proving almost impossible to stop. Barça stayed composed, though, sharing the scoring load and relying on Fall's presence inside to keep pace in a high-scoring opening quarter, which ended 25-27.

Barça take control

The hosts seized the initiative in the second quarter. Vesely dominated inside, while Laprovittola sparked the Palau with back-to-back threes as Barça produced an 18-4 run to open up a double-digit lead. Tenerife cut the deficit to ten by half-time (48-38), but the blaugranes stretched it to 15 points early in the third quarter (61-46).

Tenerife fight back, Barça finish the job

Just when the game seemed to be slipping away, Tenerife responded. Two Scrubb triples sparked a comeback, and Mills' 36-point display helped level the scores for the first time since the opening quarter.

Barça, however, had one final answer. An 8-0 run, coupled with a second technical foul for coach Txus Vidorreta, ended Tenerife's challenge and secured a 97-89 victory.

The series now moves to Tenerife, where Barça will have two chances to claim the win they need to reach the final.
