Sales open to members for possible EuroLeague play-in
With one round remaining in the EuroLeague regular season, Barça are still in the hunt to reach the play-in, with several teams involved and the possibility of finishing anywhere between eighth and eleventh place. The Catalans close out this first phase on Friday 17 April (8.30pm CEST) at the Palau Blaugrana against Bayern Munich, with qualification for the play-in in their own hands.
The uncertainty in the standings makes the final round decisive, with multiple possible combinations that will shape the team’s immediate future in European competition. The support of the fans in a potential game on Tuesday 21 April or Friday 24 April will be crucial in pushing the team at a decisive moment. Barça head into the final round in tenth place, the last position that grants access to the play-in. In this case, they would play a single-elimination tie away from home against the ninth-placed team. If they win, they would then have to play a second game, also away, against the loser of the clash between seventh and eighth, with a place in the play-offs at stake.
Barça play the play-in at home if:
They finish eighth: To achieve this, they need to beat Bayern and hope for other favourable results. In this scenario, they would play the first play-in game away against the seventh-placed team (Monaco). If they win, they would qualify directly for the play-offs. If they lose, they would have a second opportunity, which could be at the Palau (Friday 24 April), against the winner of the tie between ninth and tenth, which would be Panathinaikos or Crvena Zvezda.
They finish ninth: They would play a direct knockout tie against the tenth-placed team, which would be Crvena Zvezda (Tuesday 21 April). If they win, they would still need to overcome a second match away from home against the loser of the seventh vs eighth clash, which could be Monaco, Panathinaikos or Zalgiris.
If none of these scenarios arise, the club will refund the cost of the tickets to purchasers.
