Miles Benjamin Norris will be playing for Barça this season. The 25-year-old, born in San Francisco, has signed a one-year deal.
A versatile power forward with a strong 3-pointer rate, Norris stands 2.06 metres tall. Last season, he was part of the Boston Celtics, but played most of his games for their G-League affiliate, the Maine Celtics.
It has been 32 years since a ‘Norris’ last stepped onto the Palau court in a Barça jersey. The previous one was Audie Norris, now an ambassador for the basketball section and a club legend.
Oregon and Santa Barbara
The new Barça signing played college basketball for one year at the University of Oregon and then three at UC Santa Barbara. His best stats came during his time with the California-based Gauchos, averaging over 29 minutes, 11 points, and 5 rebounds per game across three seasons.
He signed his first professional contract without being selected in the NBA Draft, joining the Atlanta Hawks. In Atlanta, he split time between the NBA team and their G-League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks.
After a short stint with Çağdaş Bodrumspora in Turkey, he signed a new deal with the Memphis Grizzlies in October 2024, again being assigned to their G-League team, the Memphis Hustle. In March 2025, he signed a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics.

Brief European adventure
That spell in Turkey was to date Norris' only experience of hoops on this side of the Atlantic. Now, with FC Barcelona, he returns to the continent, hlooking forward to the chance to grace the EuroLeague, the Spanish League (Liga Endesa), and the Copa del Rey.
G-League stats
In just over two seasons and more than 80 games in the G-League, the Californian averaged over 16 points and 5 rebounds per game. In his second season, his performance improved notably, with averages of more than 17 points, 5.5 rebounds, and a three-point shooting percentage close to 40%.
With this latest signing, Barça's 2025/26 roster is now complete, featuring additional new arrivals Myles Cale, Juani Marcos, Toko Shengelia, and Will Clyburn.
