Barça have beaten Casademont Zaragoza in spectacular fashion, thus helping to put midweek defeat to Monaco behind them. Willy Hernangómez (23) and Darío Brizuela (16) led the charge against a side that has now gone for a full decade without winning in the Palau.
The blaugrana dominance was evident from the start, with Rokas Jokubaitis impressing with his speed and changes of pace early in the game as Barça built up a promising 5-point lead in the first 10 minutes.
They upped the ante in the second period, with threes from Abrines and Brizuela spinning the home side into a bigger lead than ever. Meanwhile, Casademont paid dearly for a poor 1/10 return on their own 3-point attempts, which meant the interval arrived with a 16 point gap between the teams. Barça were in utter control.
The third period brought no change in the script. Barça added another 9 points to their lead, which was now as much as 25. The final period was going to be purely academic, and although Casademont made their best effort to tidy things up a bit, all that did was give Barça even more chances to extend their lead, and they took them. With 2 and a half minutes to play, an Oriol Paulí triple moved the home team's tally into three figures, and it all ended with the biggest winning margin of the season so far.
