FC Barcelona and Oscar da Silva have reached an agreement whereby the German power forward/centre will play for the Catalan club for three seasons through to 30 June 2025. He comes to Barça after winning the league and cup double with Alba Berlin.

He then returned to Germany, completing the 2020/21 season at MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, excelling in 17 games with 6.6 points and 3.2 rebounds, enough to attract the interest of Alba Berlin, with whom he signed a three-year contract.
It was there that da Silva got his first European experience, averaging 8.8 points and 3.5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, in 41 domestic games, the man who speaks five languages, registered 11.3 points and 5.2 rebounds, making him the highest rated player in the championship winning team.
