Juan Carlos Navarro will be the new technical secretary of the youth basketball section from July 1, 2019. The former Barça captain takes over from Pere Capdevila, who has decided not to continue in office after four seasons (2015-19). The club thanks Capdevila for his work during this time and wishes him luck in his personal and professional future.

Apart from Juan Carlos Navarro's leadership, the youth basketball section will also see Mario Bruno Fernández installed as the new technical coordinator of youth basketball for the next four seasons. Fernández returns after working at the Catalan Basketball Federation.
