FC Barcelona and Safeguard, a Procter & Gamble brand, have announced a new strategic partnership with the shower gel becoming the cub’s regional sponsor until 2019. Blaugrana legend Rivaldo attended the announcement along with the company’s vice president for cosmetics in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, Freddy Bharucha.

Thus, Safeguard becomes the club’s official shower gel sponsor in the region, promoting sport and hygiene. The move reinforces the bonds between the club and the company, with its subsidiaries Gillette and Head & Shoulders already sponsoring Barça.
