#Invulnerables’, a project to fight against poverty

The projects objective is to defeat poverty with a special emphasis on the young and families who are vulnerable. It wants to become a tool to fight poverty and guarantee basic necessities such as a healthy diet, education, and encouraging young people to play sport. The project's participants are: FC Barcelona Foundation, Department for Social Welfare and Families, the Obra Social ”la Caixa” and the Rosa Oriol Foundation as well as local businesses.

Jordi Cardoner's statements:

'It was a special day as the project, which is promoted by our Foundation, was presented to Pope Francis, who was very receptive about the efforts to help the children in need.'

'The moment in which we gave him the shirt was especially uplifting because for us it is very important to be able to share the blaugrana colours, which the Pope shares as they are the same as his team San Lorenzo de Almagro.'

Sister Lucía Caram's statement:

'FC Barcelona's FutbolNet profect makes the whole project stronger stronger and today's gathering along with the strength Pope Francis has given us will make the project grow even further. We want to end child poverty in Catalonia and together we will make that possible.'
