Andreu Plaza signs his new contract with director Josep Ramon Vidal-Abarca | VICTOR SALGADO - FCB

Andreu Plaza has signed a new deal to become the new manager of FC Barcelona Lassa futsal for the next two seasons. He will also take on the role of technical secretary of the first team.

Plaza arrived at FC Barcelona in 2011 to coach the Barça B futsal side. His positive results earned him the award of ‘Best Manager in the Second Division’ last season.

"It is the culmination of an entire career as a coach. I am very happy and excited about this challenge. We started from scratch after two difficult years without titles. The aim now is to work to have a strong and united group to return to winning titles again as a club like Barca should.”
